We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President, Engineering Data & Operations to drive operational excellence, accelerate transformational initiatives, enhance data capabilities, drive accountability, and foster a culture of continuous innovation within our data & technology organization. In this high-impact leadership role, you will be responsible for leading our Data & Engineering Operations teams, aligning our technology organizational goals with our company strategic priorities, scaling best practices, optimizing engineering processes, and spearheading initiatives that enhance agility, efficiency, and technological advancement across the organization.
What You'll Do...
Data Engineering:

- Lead company-wide data initiatives to improve data accessibility, quality, and usability-fostering a culture of data stewardship, accountability, and informed decision making across business functions
- Direct the modernization of data infrastructure and governance frameworks to ensure organizational readiness for scale, compliance and innovation
- Lead cross functional alignment with Product, IT, Security, and Business Units to deliver trusted, high-quality data for analytics, reporting, and strategic decision-making
- Oversee the development of scalable data models, metrics frameworks, and analytics capabilities to support performance tracking and decision support.
- Guide the exploration and strategic integration of AI & Machine learning technologies, enabling next generation product features and unlocking predictive insights.
- Define and execute a long-term vision and roadmap for scaling the data platform, democratizing data access, and enabling advanced analytics across the organization
Engineering Operations & Excellence:

- Lead and manage the Engineering Operations team, providing direction, mentorship, and fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture
- Oversee day-to-day engineering operations, including incident management, on-call support processes, and operational readiness
- Partner with engineering to identify operational gaps and ensure consistent and efficient support for engineering
- Define and implement world-class data and engineering processes, metrics, and governance frameworks to drive operational efficiency and quality
- Establish KPIs and OKRs to measure engineering and data performance, productivity, and data reliability, scalability & governance
- Drive automation, standardization, and tooling adoption across data and engineering teams to improve efficiency
Innovation & Technology Leadership:

- Drive a culture of innovation by identifying and incubating new technologies, architectures, and frameworks that improve our capabilities.
- Partner with engineering, data, and product leaders to explore emerging technologies and their potential applications.
About You...
- 10+ years of experience in strategic transformational and strategic leadership roles
- Proven track record in driving large-scale technology transformations
- Deep expertise in technology operations, process optimization, and performance measurement (KPIs, OKRs, DORA metrics, etc.)
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals and drive measurable impact.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, leadership, and change management skills.
- Experience with M&A due diligence, post-merger tech integration, or scaling technology teams post-acquisition.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and ROI analysis.
