Job Description

As VP, Design & Technical Services MEAIT, you will lead the design and technical development of our growing portfolio across the Middle East, Africa, India and Turkey, ensuring every project reflects the unique vision, creativity and operational excellence that define Ennismore.

Working closely with owners, development teams and our global brand experts, you will oversee projects from concept through to opening, ensuring design integrity, brand compliance, commercial success and on-time delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the delivery of Hotel Consultancy Services Agreements (HCSA) and Technical Services Agreements (TSA) across multiple development projects throughout the region.
  • Manage the regional Design & Technical Services team, departmental budget and P&L performance.
  • Partner with Global Brand Design, F&B, Wellness and other specialist teams to bring each brand's vision to life.
  • Develop comprehensive project briefs, including spatial planning, programming, design direction and overall guest experience concepts.
  • Review and optimise layouts and space planning for both new-build and refurbishment projects to maximise operational efficiency and guest experience.
  • Recommend, evaluate and approve external design consultants and project partners.
  • Guide and influence design outcomes across architecture, interior design and related disciplines.
  • Coordinate the integration of Ennismore standards, specifications and technical requirements, including construction, MEP, OS&E and specialist equipment.
  • Support development teams with feasibility reviews, area scheduling, budgeting, property improvement plans and design presentations.
  • Review and approve design documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with brand, operational and technical standards.
  • Lead mock-up review and approval processes, providing recommendations on materials, workmanship and construction quality.
  • Support projects through construction, testing, commissioning, defect inspections and final handover ahead of opening.
  • Partner closely with Operations to ensure annual opening targets are achieved.
  • Manage project governance and approval processes with Global Brand Design and Ennismore leadership at key project milestones.
  • Oversee fee collection and financial performance across the MEAIT D&TS function.
  • Maintain accurate project records, reporting and documentation across all active developments.
  • Build, mentor and inspire high-performing regional D&TS teams, providing the tools, support and leadership needed to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Carry out other duties as required by the Chief Growth Officer.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior role managing D&TS team at luxury level for International hospitality operators specializing in Hospitality Project Design /Construction
  • Proven Experience in Full End to End Project Design Delivery along with understanding of high-end Food & Beverage delivery sequence & wellness high level knowledge.
  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree in architecture or Engineering related field
  • Experience in dealing with Owners, Operators, International and Local Design & Technical Consultants
  • Experience with Project Management, Drafting Software and Design Review Software packages preferred
