BNY Treasury Services, Global Payments & Trade is seeking an experienced and highly organized local manager to join our Commercialization team in Pune, India. This role will lead the local Proposal & Sales Enablement team, with a strong focus on people management, team development, workload coordination, and delivery excellence.
The team supports proposal responses, due diligence requests, and the creation of internal and external sales enablement materials. The manager will partner closely with the U.S.-based Heads of Proposals & DDQ and Sales Enablement, who will provide functional guidance and established processes, while the local manager provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, and oversight for the Pune-based team.
In this role, you’ll make an impact by:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a small team, providing clear direction, ongoing feedback, and local supervision to support strong performance and engagement
- Coordinating work allocation across the Pune team in partnership with U.S.-based functional leads
- Ensuring high-quality, deadline-driven delivery of proposal responses, RFPs, due diligence requests, presentations, and sales enablement materials
- Overseeing presentation, copywriting, and graphic design deliverables to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with BNY brand standards
- Supporting review and approval processes, including legal, business, and brand reviews, as needed
- Contributing directly to high-value client deliverables through writing, editing, research, and messaging that positions BNY strongly in the market
- Using tracking tools and project plans to manage workflows, monitor deadlines, and maintain accurate reporting
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance team effectiveness, and leverage AI where appropriate
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in business, communications, marketing, management, or a related field
- 5–7 years of relevant experience, including team leadership or people management experience
- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate a team
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadline-driven deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including English fluency
- High attention to detail and strong judgment, with the ability to work independently and hold stakeholders accountable
- Commitment to continuous improvement and enhancing the client experience
- Experience in proposal development, due diligence, or sales enablement preferred
- Financial services experience preferred; knowledge of Treasury Services and Global Payments & Trade solutions a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint; familiarity with InDesign and proposal tools preferred
- Strong writing, editing, and presentation development skills preferred
- Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to leverage them to improve team efficiency, content development, and workflow processes
