We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, BI, Analytics and Enablement to join our Data Operations and BI team. This role is located in Pune.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Design and review logical and physical data models based on existing platforms and evolving business requirements
- Enhance and maintain canonical data models to support platform consistency, integration, and reuse
- Implement and manage database views, stored procedures, and related structures for data persistence and consumption
- Support data consumption services by providing tools, documentation, and technical guidance to development and business teams
- Ensure data model performance across both transactional and analytical use cases
- Implement and strengthen data quality, validation, and verification processes across data models and interfaces
- Work closely with development, platform, and governance teams to improve understanding, adoption, and consistent use of core data structures
- Handle day-to-day database operations, support data issue resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement of the data environment
- Support governed self-service analytics enablement through dataset readiness, semantic layer support, and platform administration activities
- Contribute to analytics and AI enablement efforts by improving the usability, certification, and accessibility of underlying data assets
- Partner with stakeholders to help translate business requirements into scalable data solutions that reduce manual effort and improve delivery leverage
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
- Strong experience with data modeling, database design, and database development
- Prior experience managing database development, enhancements, and data integration activities
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably MS SQL Server, including strong SQL skills
- Experience implementing data validation, verification, and quality controls across data interfaces and models
- Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Power BI, Sigma, Alteryx, Tableau, or Dataiku
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complex data and integration issues
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and analysis to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in financial services; investment management or securities data experience is a plus
- Experience supporting self-service analytics environments, semantic layers, or certified dataset development
