About the Role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Access Origination. This role covers jobs responsible for creating sales opportunities with securities clients and prospects. Identifies, acquires, and grows new relationships within target market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise experienced investor relations officers, senior management executives in achieving their IR goals
- Work with internal constituents including research analysts, investment bankers, corporate bankers and others to both drive increased corporate access as well as serve institutional investor needs
- Identify opportunities to mitigate legal, regulatory, reputational, and financial risks
- Establish new and differentiated corporate access events
- Engage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide and serve as a skilled advisor to leadership
- 5+ years of Securities Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 6+ years of corporate access at a large investment bank or similar experience
- 5+ years investor relations experience
- Knowledge and understanding of business development: business vision, strategies, and goals
- Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
- Strong financial background in capital markets
- Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
- Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
- Strong communications skills and analytic skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
- Up to 50% travel
- Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
- Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
