To realize and execute on the potential of this opportunity, we are looking for a VP of ANZ to lead Okta’s go to market operations. The VP of ANZ is our most senior executive responsible for the overall success of Okta’s largest go to market business in Australia & New Zealand. You will be a key individual within the APJ and global field organization, and will be responsible for defining and implementing the company’s overall business strategy in our growing international markets.

We are currently operating as a specialised go to market model and have developed the talent and the expertise to drive larger and more complex engagements. Our VP of ANZ will lead Okta’s next growth phases and strategically expand further into our customers while also exploring new territories, markets and IAM Product Gateways for both the Okta and Auth0 portfolio.

Our primary goal is to win the lion’s share of the $80B Global TAM across Workforce and Customer Identity. Become Industry Standard for how Digital Identity is done, known, needed and loved by everyone. 

As Our Leader for ANZ you will:

  • Quickly take stock of the business as it stands today, developing a thorough understanding of Okta, its technologies, its partners, its customers and their use of those technologies, and the way in which solutions are currently sold and supported.
  • Develop the most appropriate go-to-market strategy for your region and take full responsibility for its execution.
  • Lead the ANZ leadership team to continuously develop, implement and execute a sound strategic go to market plan that continues our market leadership. 
  • Lead and champion the partner first go to market strategy driving alignment and growth through and with the partners, distributors, SIs and GSIs in the ANZ market. 
  • Provide motivational leadership to the territory through clarity and aligned messaging both internally and externally to build passion, energy and shared excitement into the business.
  • Ensure the development of a first-class go to market operation by hiring, motivating, developing, and driving an accountable performance culture.
  • Represent the business at the highest levels, collaborating with our SVP & GM APJ, President of Worldwide Operations, CEO, CRO and the Board of Directors.
  • Research and respond to evolving market trends and customer needs. Ensuring an effective contribution to decision making on product strategy.
  • Provide clear and open reporting; ensure accuracy of forecasting and as the business continues to scale, put in place robust processes to provide for increased predictability and sustainability.
  • Represent Okta externally, taking opportunities to inform and educate both the market and industry through platform speaking, seminars, press briefings etc. Acting as Executive Sponsor on some of our biggest and strategic deals. 
  • Develop a vibrant ecosystem of solution, technology, resell, delivery and integration partners to drive growth, reach and customer success.
  • Contribute to the global evolution of Sales Operations, Systems, Tools and Processes.

Skilled in winning and nurturing complex accounts. Keeping the voice of the customer at the center of everything. You have a track record of ‘big-ticket’ sales leadership gained in an enterprise software environment, ideally with a deep understanding of infrastructure and developer led software.

You’re a practiced leading sales manager, exercising discipline in how you operate both operationally and strategically. You have natural comfort interfacing directly with senior executives of customer and partner organizations, engaging with them on business-critical issues and presenting sophisticated propositions to market.
