Australian Venue Co. is seeking an experienced, hands-on Venue Manager to lead the team at the White Bull Tavern — a well-established, highly regarded venue in the heart of Roma, Western Queensland.

About the Venue
The White Bull Tavern is a cornerstone of the local community, offering quality dining, functions, liquor retail, gaming, and beverage experiences. As Venue Manager, you'll own day-to-day operations while building strong relationships with guests, team members, and the wider community.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for the venue's overall performance — financial results, team leadership, compliance, guest experience, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a medium-sized hospitality team
- Drive sales, profitability, and operational performance
- Manage labour, wages, and cost control targets
- Deliver outstanding guest experiences across the business
- Maintain compliance with liquor licensing, gaming, food safety, and WHS requirements
- Run local area marketing and community engagement initiatives
- Analyse performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue
- Uphold high standards of presentation, service, and cleanliness

Skills Required
- Proven experience leading and developing hospitality teams
- Experience driving sales, profitability and managing P&L
- Knowledge of liquor licensing, gaming compliance, food safety and WHS requirements
- Ability to manage labour, wages and cost control targets
- Strong guest service and venue presentation standards
- Experience running local marketing and community engagement initiatives
- Commercially focused with ability to analyse performance and implement revenue strategies
