What you can expect
- Test the system on test vehicles in ‘real time’ on public roads and test tracks
- Participate in test campaigns in Romania and abroad
- Data analysis after test sessions including creation and tracking of issues
- Root cause analysis and problem solving activities
- Perform (hands-on) investigations/analysis to evaluate the system's status and compliance with its specifications
- Create and use rest-bus simulation environments for testing
- Design relevant test cases with the target to ensure the best coverage of the requirements, implement test scenarios using CANoe and automate via CAPL scripts
- Ensure that the project is developed according to Magna quality standards (ASPICE compliant)
- Support system integration and system test activities
What you'll bring
- Previous working experience (at least 3-5 years) as a test engineer, preferably in automotive Strong knowledge of engineering principles and concepts in the development of the automotive safety systems
- Good understanding and overview of SW, HW and Mechanics disciplines
- Proficient in PTC, Codebeamer, Jira
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as GSR and NCAP
- Knowledge of CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet communication protocols; experience with one of the associated tools (i.e. CANoe, CANalyzer, CANdela)
- Ideally hands-on experience with OEM diagnostic Tools like e-Sys or VAS
- Proactive mindset, willingness and curiosity to continuously learn, explore new technologies and improve skills through self-driven initiatives
- Strong communication and excellent teamwork skills
- Excellent analytical skills and logical thinking
- Minimum B2 level of English proficiency
- B driving license with at least 3 years of driving experience
- Reside in Timisoara or nearby; physical presence at our office and on-site garage is essential.
