Position Summary:
Gamma Mobility is looking for a highly organized and proactive Vehicle Operations Lead to lead our end-to-end vehicle servicing, maintenance, and refurbishment strategy across our mobility fleet. You will play a pivotal role in optimising vehicle uptime, managing cost efficiency, and enabling scale across key cities in Ghana.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for motorcycles, tricycles, and vehicles.
Ensure vehicle downtime is minimised and turnaround time on repairs is within SLA.
Work closely with OEMs to ensure adequate setup of aftersales infrastructure, warranty management, technician provision and training, and the provision of spare parts
Create service-level SOPs to support all vehicle operations activities.
Negotiate contracts and SLAs for outsourced services.
Manage, track and ensure efficient cost-per-vehicle-serviced across the fleet.
Maintain dashboards and reports on Fleet uptime, Service schedule compliance, Maintenance turnaround time, Refurbishment cost and time, Parts usage and availability
Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports for the Head of Operations.
Support vehicle allocation planning and readiness.
Manage all fleet processes: procurement, licensing, insurance, and deployment.
Enforce operational standards for bike usage, safety, and servicing.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Operations, or Logistics.
3–5 years experience in vehicle or fleet operations management.
Excellent leadership and vendor management skills.
Familiarity with vehicle tracking and fleet software.
Knowledge of compliance and safety regulations.
