Job Description

Connected vehicles are equipped with increasingly sophisticated multimedia systems that enable :

• Record personal data (GPS history, phone, contacts, user profiles, Android Automotive and other OS identifiers, etc.).
• Consultation of the vehicle's status (fuel or battery level, alerts and faults...) and remote control of certain functions, thanks to coupling with the manufacturer's mobile application (locking/unlocking the vehicle, triggering a recharge, programming the air conditioning, switching on the headlights, ...) .

As a car rental company, this raises serious questions for Europcar Mobility Group in terms of personal data protection, security, fleet control and commercial opportunities.

As part of your internship or apprenticeship contract, thus you will be required to:

• Analyze and sort OEM’s data

• Validate the Europcar use cases feasibility

• Organize the validation of the data we receive

• Define the algorithms to exploit this data (by proposing a common solution for all vehicles)

• Test the remote requests on the vehicle

Internal and external relationships during your internship or apprenticeship contract:

Internal : IT, Operations, Fleet, Service lines, Sales, Quality …

External : car manufacturers, suppliers, repair networks, ….

Type of contract : internship of 6 months or apprenticeship contract for 1 or 2 years.

Start Date : January 2025

The position will be base within our Headquarter (Paris 75017).

Qualifications

You are the right candidate if :

• You are a student preparing a higher-level engineering course at a university or engineering school (between bac+2 and bac+5). 
• You are interested in the automotive ecosystem and have automotive knowledge in this field
• Your have a gool level in English (working language) and French.
• You have a good knowledge in Google's Office Suite.
• You are curious, have good organisational skills, good communication skills, and are able to summarise.
