We are looking for a Veeva Business Analyst to work in our Veeva IT DevOps Team partnering with Quality Assurance across the world. This position will be an on-site role in Krakow, Poland.

What you’ll do:

  • Be part of the IT Quality Systems team working as a business analyst on the Veeva Quality platform.

  • Partner with the Quality Assurance teams and Veeva configuration analysts to deliver features and enhancements for the Veeva QMS (eQMS) and QualityDocs (eDMS) applications.

  • Undertake functional/technical design to translate enhancement requests from business partners into clearly defined, actionable backlogs with acceptance criteria that can be developed by the Veeva configuration analysts.

  • Identify opportunities for process and system improvements. 

  • Engage with the vendor to understand their roadmap and upcoming system features.

  • Engage continuously with business partners and stakeholders to understand their business goals and motivating factors.

  • Undertake IT testing of the developed backlogs to confirm that the acceptance criteria have been met.

  • Manage the activities for internal releases of enhancements and configuration changes, coordinating daily standups and ensuring that release activities are completed on time.

  • Manage the activities for the three vendor releases per year, coordinating the impact assessment and subsequent testing of release changes.

  • Provide L2 technical support for Veeva Quality Vault and associated interfaces, working on incidents and problems raised in ServiceNow, using problem solving techniques to identify the root cause and evaluate options for fixes.

  • Follow IT process and practice for changes and incidents, ensuring completeness of all documentation and plans.

  • Learn and work with Danaher Business Systems methodologies for continuous process improvement; proactively suggesting solutions to business users.

Who you are:

  • Strong Business Analysis skills and ability to translate requirements to enterprise software features.

  • Experience working with SaaS technologies, as well as in a GxP validated environment.

  • Experience working in teams in a formal software development lifecycle environment following a formal project management and governance process.

  • Familiarity with Agile, waterfall and iterative software implementation approaches.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation abilities.

  • Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate approaches to solving problems; skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.

  • Demonstrable business process knowledge and ability to take ownership of medium sized or incompletely defined tasks.

  • BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent.     

  • Minimum five years of IT experience or equivalent within a business function.

  • Fluent in English language (written and spoken).
