ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Veeam L2/L3 Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise backup operations and mandatory hands-on experience with VMware Horizon (VDI).

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• 6+ years of Veeam Backup Administration/Support

• Enterprise Veeam troubleshooting

• Veeam Backup, Recovery & Archiving

• VMware Horizon / VDI – Mandatory

• Backup scheduling, automation & reporting

• Backup failure analysis & RCA

• Tape Libraries & Tape Management

• D2D Backup, StoreOnce / MSL or equivalent

• SAN connectivity & iSCSI

• Networking fundamentals

• Log analysis & troubleshooting

• Veeam/OEM support escalation

• Experience with at least one Operating System

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and support enterprise Veeam backup environments

• Troubleshoot backup, recovery and archiving issues

• Analyze backup failures and provide RCA

• Perform Veeam upgrades, patching and configuration changes

• Manage Tape, SAN, D2D and cloud backup environments

• Support VMware Horizon/VDI backup-related operations

• Monitor storage capacity and backup performance

• Coordinate with customers, internal teams and OEM/Veeam support

• Provide L2/L3 support for critical incidents

Skills Required

6+ years of Veeam Backup Administration or Support experience
Enterprise Veeam troubleshooting experience
Experience with Veeam Backup, Recovery and Archiving
Hands-on VMware Horizon or VDI experience
Experience with backup scheduling, automation and reporting
Experience analyzing backup failures and performing root-cause analysis
Experience with tape libraries and tape management
Experience with D2D Backup, StoreOnce, MSL or equivalent technologies
Experience with SAN connectivity and iSCSI
Networking fundamentals
Log analysis and troubleshooting experience
Experience with Veeam or OEM support escalation
Experience with at least one operating system
