We are seeking a skilled and experienced Support Engineer to join our Veeam Data Cloud product team. You will provide advanced support for our SaaS application on Microsoft Azure, serving as the final escalation point for customer issues.
Your tasks will include:
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to the Production SaaS application hosted on Azure, including performance degradation, service interruptions, and integration failures
- Incident Management: Take ownership of high-priority incidents, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with internal teams and customers
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents and develop preventive measures to avoid recurrence
- Azure Cloud Management: Oversee and manage Azure cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, Key Vault, Security and monitoring tools, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency
- Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with software developers to identify and resolve bugs, optimize application performance, and improve system reliability
- Automation and Scripting: Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks, enhance monitoring capabilities, and improve incident response times
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles
- Customer Support: Provide top-tier technical support to customers, assisting them with complex issues that require deep technical expertise and thorough analysis
What we expect from you:
- A university degree in a technical field
- 3+ years of experience in a technical support role, with at least 2 years in a Tier 3 or equivalent position
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including but not limited to Azure VMs, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Networking and Peering, Key vaults, Security
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex issues in a SaaS environment, including performance tuning, log analysis, and application debugging
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with Production SaaS cloud deployment
- Basic knowledge of Windows Linux OS Management
