Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Value Stream Manager II based at our Billerica, MA location.

What you will do:

  • Lead and optimize the value stream by overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of products within the assigned portfolio, ensuring alignment between product strategy, operational execution, customer requirements, and business objectives.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration by partnering with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, and Customer Support teams to successfully launch products, manage product changes, resolve issues, and deliver customer commitments.

  • Support successful HydroCharge™ deployments by providing comprehensive product information, developing training materials, and conducting on-site customer training

  • Manage product and business performance by monitoring key performance indicators, analyzing trends, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, product quality, and profitability.

  • Lead strategic and continuous improvement initiatives by prioritizing projects, allocating resources, managing risks, and driving process improvements that support growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

  • Develop and support high-performing teams by coaching team members, fostering collaboration and accountability, supporting professional development, and creating an engaging work environment focused on achieving results.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

  • 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience managing products, projects, operations, or cross-functional business initiatives.

  • Experience leading complex projects and coordinating diverse stakeholder groups to achieve business objectives.

  • Demonstrated success driving process improvements, operational efficiencies, and business performance improvements.

Skills, Experience, & Abilities:  

  • Operations Leadership: Experience leading manufacturing or operations teams in a demand-driven environment, with knowledge of production systems, automation, inventory management, budgeting, and strategic planning.

  • Development: Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams, fostering accountability, engagement, and achievement of business objectives.

  • Business Strategy: Experience leading or supporting strategic initiatives, managing organizational change, and aligning resources to business priorities and growth objectives.

  • Continuous Improvement: Experience driving Lean, DFT, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and overall business performance. Preferred experience leading process improvement implementations.
