About the Position: 

Are you passionate about crafting visually stunning and intuitive user interfaces? AvePoint is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our global team of innovators. In this role, your primary focus will be on designing clean, engaging, and functional user interfaces, while incorporating UX principles to ensure seamless and user-friendly experiences. What You’ll Do: 

As a UI/UX Designer at AvePoint, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the visual design, interactivity, and usability of our products. While your primary focus will be on creating visually stunning and functional user interfaces, you’ll also apply UX principles to ensure a seamless, user-friendly experience. Your responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Interface Design: Craft high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and pixel-perfect UI elements that align with our brand and meet user needs. 
  • User Research: Understand user needs and behaviors through interviews, surveys, and usability studies to inform interface and experience design. 
  • Design Standards: Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across products. 
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with product managers, developers, and senior designers to iterate and refine designs based on feedback. 
  • Usability Testing: Plan and conduct user testing sessions, analyze feedback, and incorporate changes to enhance interface usability and satisfaction. 
  • Seamless Implementation: Collaborate with developers to ensure the flawless execution of designs and address implementation challenges. 
  • Innovation & Trends: Stay updated on UI design trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them to elevate our products. 

 

What You’ll Bring to the Team: 

We’re looking for someone who combines creativity with a deep understanding of user needs. The ideal candidate will have: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field. 
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience. 
  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent software. 
  • A strong foundation in user-centered design principles and methodologies. 
  • Hands-on experience in user research, usability testing, and synthesizing findings into actionable insights. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively across diverse, global teams. 
  • A meticulous attention to detail and a genuine passion for crafting exceptional user experiences. 

 

Bonus Points for: 

  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 
  • Experience working within Agile frameworks and using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or ProductBoard. 
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
