UX Writer

Are you a wordsmith with a passion for crafting delightful user experiences? Do you have a knack for turning complex concepts into clear, concise, and engaging copy? If so, we want you on our team as a UX Writer!

As an experienced UX Writer, you'll be the voice of our product, shaping every interaction with an engaging, on-brand content that resonates with our users and guides them seamlessly through their journey. 

This is a Hybrid role, based in Sydney, Australia or Melbourne, Australia.

About the role: 

• Collaborate closely with designers, researchers, product managers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver compelling, user-centred content solutions. 
• Craft clear, concise, user-friendly, and on-brand copy for various digital platforms, including our website, web platform and mobile app.
• Evaluate user needs, preferences, and pain points, utilising data and user testing insights to drive improvements.
• Communicate complex information in a simple, authentic, friendly, and human manner.
• Manage multiple demands effectively and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
• Champion best practices in UX writing and contribute to the development of our content style guide.

About You:

• Proven experience as a UX Writer, Content Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your writing skills and impact on user experiences.
• You're passionate about developing strategies based on insights from real people and have a background in working with user research and analysing customer feedback.
• A phenomenal communicator and collaborator, you thrive in an agile environment and excel at working across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving is your forte, and you approach challenges with enthusiasm, regardless of scale or complexity.
• Possessing a positive attitude, you maintain a relentless drive towards quality and consistency in your work.
• You proactively identify challenges and are adept at developing and implementing valuable solutions.
• Thriving in fast-growth environments, you can adapt to changing priorities, remain flexible, and take ownership of outcomes.
• With a growth mindset, you're open to feedback and can quickly adapt to the demands of a fast-paced environment.
• You can provide an online portfolio showcasing your work, demonstrating your approach and expertise in UX writing and content design.
