Role Summary:
Focuses on improving the look, feel, and usability of the Streamlit app. Works cross-functionally to ensure the product is user-centered and accessible.
Objective:
Improve the usability, accessibility, and overall user experience of the Streamlit app. Work closely with developers to create clean, intuitive interfaces aligned with product goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and UI mockups
- Create and maintain design systems and visual guidelines
- Collaborate with developers to implement UI designs in Streamlit
- Evaluate user feedback and analytics to inform design improvements
- Document UX flows and design decisions
Key Skills:
- Design Tools: Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- UX Research: User testing, persona development, journey mapping
- Frontend Collaboration: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/Streamlit components
- Accessibility: WCAG standards awareness
- Soft Skills: Empathy, communication, iterative design process
Education: Degree or certification in UX/UI Design, HCI, or related field.
Experience: 2–5 years in UX/UI roles with demonstrable design portfolio.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
- Understanding of responsive web design and accessibility principles (WCAG).
- Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS concepts and front-end collaboration.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Strong UX portfolio showcasing design thinking and usability improvements.
- Demonstrated experience in data-driven, iterative design.
- Clear ability to turn requirements into functional, attractive designs.
- Understanding of working within technical constraints (e.g., Streamlit UI limitations).
- Excellent communication and feedback integration skills.
Soft Skills:
- Empathetic approach to design.
- Strong visual communication and storytelling.
- Collaborative attitude toward developers and stakeholders.
