Monitors site wide daily performance metrics and use SEO tools and techniques to optimize site traffic, improve user experience, and increase conversions. Conducts keyword research, search behavior analyses, technical audits, and content gap analyses. Utilizes website analytics to create reports, audits, and dashboards to identify areas for optimization. Conducts competitive research and deploys the latest developments in SEO. Knowledge of technical website elements involved with indexing. Proficient in using a variety of SEO tools like Google Analytics and Search Console, TagManager, Google Business Profile, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Moz, AWR Cloud, Agency Analytics. Experienced with HTML, CSS, Javascript.

Job Description

We are looking for a SEO Specialist to focus on our Socius Marketing product. Socius Marketing provides clients across the U.S. and Canada with full-service digital marketing solutions including SEO, PPC, paid and organic social media, website development and design, and more.

We are seeking a SEO expert ready to drive organic growth by developing and implementing SEO content and optimization strategies, conducting in-depth keyword research, optimizing technical SEO elements, and analyzing website performance with precision.

Your role will involve tackling complex SEO challenges, staying at the forefront of industry trends and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients to achieve outstanding results. With a proven track record in SEO, a deep understanding of Google algorithms, and the ability to adapt to the ever-changing digital landscape, you'll thrive in our fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

· Developing keyword research deliverables and guidance to drive content opportunities. Develop keyword-based content plans and calendars for large parent brands and individual child locations, tying the two concepts together in a scalable manner using holistic SEO strategies that flow between a national and local level.

· Metadata optimizations.

· Monitor content optimizations, streamline client feedback, and content calendar workflows.

· Configuring SEO tracking tools, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics 4.

· Optimization of Google Business Profiles and local listings management. Identifying eligibility requirements and risk factors.

· Working with design and development teams to advise on technical SEO project implementation.

· Troubleshooting website performance issues that relate to technical SEO, including crawling, indexation, and site speed issues.

· Leveraging competitor research to advance client strategies.

· Research and identify URL architecture, page errors, content and navigational issues, and other factors that impact the technical performance of a website.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

We’re looking for someone who can:

Independently problem-solve simple to complex SEO issues. Identify common site migration pitfalls and create actionable solutions to retain organic performance Monitor and analyze website performance using a range of SEO and site analytics tools, including Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Agency Analytics, WebCEO, and Screaming Frog. Stay abreast of current SEO and GEO best practices and organic ranking factors.

Skills And Qualifications

2-4 years of agency experience in an SEO-related role. Multi-location or franchise SEO experience required.

Proven track record of developing and implementing SEO strategies that drive relevant traffic to client websites.

Content calendar creation, planning and workflow management.

Working knowledge of technical SEO and site information architecture best practices.

Strong attention to detail.

Strong project management and organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects on quick timelines.

Knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console, and the ability to adapt and learn a wide variety of SEO tools.

Experience using WordPress and Webflow.

Nice To Have

Experience working in a remote environment.

Experience working in healthcare or the home improvement space.

GEO or AISO experience and prompt monitoring
