Team Overview
Seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Engineer who can combine user-centered design expertise with modern front-end development capabilities. The role is responsible for designing intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing digital experiences and transforming those designs into responsive, high-performance applications. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and usability studies to understand user needs.
- Create information architecture, user journeys, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Design intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces aligned with product and brand guidelines.
- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive and reusable front-end components.
- Participate in design reviews, usability testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
UI/UX Design
- Strong experience in:
- User Research
- Information Architecture
- Site Mapping
- User Journey Mapping
- Wireframing and Prototyping
- Interaction Design
- Visual Design
- Usability Testing
- Proficiency with any design tools.
Front-End Development
- Strong proficiency in:
- HTML5
- CSS3 / SCSS
- TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of front-end architecture, state management, and API integrations.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
