Position Overview
As a Senior UX Researcher at Vonage, you will lead research initiatives to inform and shape product decisions, ensuring we design solutions that are intuitive and meet the needs of our users. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to conduct qualitative and quantitative research, drive insights, and contribute to the overall UX strategy.

What you will do:

  • Lead and conduct end-to-end user research, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and field studies.
  • Analyze research data to generate insights that inform design decisions and product strategy.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define research goals and ensure insights are applied to the product development process.
  • Create user personas, journey maps, and other deliverables to communicate research findings effectively.
  • Advocate for the user, ensuring that user needs and pain points are prioritized in the design process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research insights into the overall UX strategy.
  • Mentor junior UX researchers and support the development of research practices within the team.
  • Stay current on the latest UX research methods, tools, and trends, applying them to improve the research process.

 What you will bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX research, with a strong portfolio of research projects that led to impactful product decisions.
  • Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods (e.g., usability testing, surveys, user interviews, analytics).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and engineering.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey research findings to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with UX design processes and working in an agile environment.

Desired:

  • Experience in SaaS, cloud communications, or enterprise products.
  • Familiarity with design systems and creating content that fits within a cohesive design framework.
  • Experience working with localization and translation teams.
  • Knowledge of AI, conversational UI, and writing for chatbots or voice interfaces.
