About the Role
Join us in shaping the future of the A&G business segment through impactful research. In this role, you’ll help us understand user behaviours, needs and motivations to inform product decisions and improve user experiences. Working closely with senior researchers, designers and product teams, you will use a variety of research methods to generate insights that help ensure our products are centred around the needs of our users.
Responsibilities
- Applies creative problem solving to plan the right UX research activities for each context, collaborating with design and product colleagues to understand customer, stakeholder and business needs.
- Delivers qualitative and quantitative UX research studies, from planning through to analysing and socialising the insights, using a wide variety of methodologies and tools.
- Helps team focus on customer and user needs by understanding use cases, leveraging analytics and sharing and integrating research insights into design.
- Contributes to the rapid iteration of solutions, in order to help define products' structure, layout and visual identity.
- Contributes to the understanding of market segments and competitors.
Requirements
- Is familiar with UX research practices and tools, both quantitative and qualitative, and can independently identify the best approach for different contexts.
- Has strong experience in planning and delivering user research initiatives, including but not limited to surveys, interviews, diary and ethnographic studies, usability testing and analytics.
- Can build strong relationships across teams and functions, and is able to effectively articulate research insights for a variety of audiences in order to drive value for customers.
- Practices self-development by taking ownership of growth, engaging in regular feedback, and remaining curious and keen to learn.
- Is able to ask effective questions and collect facts from multiple sources in order to solve problems, and to manage day-to-day issues independently.
- Experiments with new ideas and looks for opportunities to challenge the status quo.
- Communicates clearly and effectively, and participates actively in team presentations.
- Is approachable, collaborative and able to develop positive working relationship within the team.
