Your Role at impact.com:

We’re looking for a UX Design Intern to join our team and help enhance the user experience of our platform. This three month internship offers hands-on experience in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and UI design, along with mentorship and professional development opportunities.

What You'll Do:
  • Conduct user research through surveys and usability tests to understand user needs.
  • Assist in designing wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for new features.
  • Support usability testing, including organizing tests, recording insights, and reporting findings.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to create effective design solutions.
  • Work effectively within the impact.com design system.
  • Stay updated on UX best practices to bring fresh ideas and improvements.
  • Translate UX Design briefs into functional, user centered solutions that solve business objectives.
What You Have:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field / experience.
  • A portfolio showcasing design projects is required.
  • Proficiency in Figma and other design tools.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and UX methodologies.
  • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flow diagrams.
  • Experience with user research and usability testing.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes is a plus.

As this is a hybrid role, it is important to note that the successful candidate has a secure, quiet space to work from at home, with a stable, fast internet connection.
