UX Data Analyst (e-commerce)

Alabama Solutions is looking for a UX Data Analyst to join our business unit, HNDevs.

Term Contractor Position

• Part-time
• Must be able to work US Eastern Time from 9 am to 1 pm
• Two-Month Contract | Potentially extendable depending on our client's needs.
• E-commerce / Shopify experience is a must.
• English Fluency is a must, both oral and written.

We are seeking a data-driven UX Analyst who excels at turning user behavior into performance gains. You will extract insights, identify friction in the customer journey, and drive conversion through smart, measurable improvements. Working with designers and developers, you will ensure proper event tagging, track key flows, validate KPIs, and run A/B tests.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user behavior across e-commerce journeys using Google Analytics and Shopify
• Define and track KPIs tied to conversion and engagement
• Conduct journey mapping and funnel analysis to reduce bounce and abandonment
• Collaborate with developers to implement and validate event tagging
• Plan and execute A/B tests based on strategic hypotheses and success metrics
• Report on test outcomes and performance shifts in user behavior
• Turn data into clear insights and communicate those insights to clients
• Support design decisions by linking behavioral data to UX pain points

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of experience in e-commerce and data analytics
• Mastery of Google Analytics, Shopify, and A/B testing platforms
• Strong foundation in quantitative analysis, statistics, and data visualization
• Comfortable crafting hypotheses and testing design variations
• Experience creating and presenting reports that influence product decisions
• Solid understanding of user behavior, heuristics, and UX best practices
• Able to work across design, development, and project management teams
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments and managing multiple client accounts
• Familiarity with tools to build basic UX artifacts is a plus
