Role Description
You will join as a User Experience (UX) Lead and support trading applications and platform used across the DWS Investment group. In this role, you will help shape a stable, reliable, and high-quality user experience across the platform, working closely with engineering, operations, and business teams in a regulated environment. You will ensure the applications are intuitive, consistent, accessible, and aligned with business outcomes, platform governance, and enterprise UX principles.

Your key responsibilities
- Define UX strategy for investment platforms, transaction systems, and data-heavy applications
- Align UX vision with business goals, regulatory constraints, and client needs
- Drive simplification of complex workflows
- Establish design best practices across teams and domains
- Create a strong UX culture within engineering-led product teams
- Own UX design across end-to-end journeys
- Partner closely with:
- Product owners (roadmap alignment)
- Engineering teams (APIs, microservices, Kafka, UI integration)
- Run workshops, discovery sessions, and design sprints
- Influence product requirements to incorporate UX early in the lifecycle
- Work within Agile/Scrum environments
- Support MVP-based delivery and continuous iteration
Your skills and experience
- Strong knowledge of UX principles, methodologies, and ServiceNow best practices.
- Working knowledge of platform configuration, including flows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies.
- Familiarity with incident, problem, change, and request management processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
