Responsibilities
What you'll be able to do:
Document all use cases for how user will interact with features across driver information and Centerstack displays in vehicle. Deliver complete software specifications that document the content shown per screen and the logic that drives it, user flow and interactions on touchscreen and with connected physical buttons on steering wheel and instrument panel, interactions and arbitration with other features, warning interruptions, and edge case management. Work with user research team and visual designers to test, iterate, and improve design into overall system. Manage, test, and validate end to end development of user experience by working directly with software development team to resolve all implementation issues before final vehicle delivery.

Qualifications
You'll have
- Requires a master's or foreign equivalent degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 18 months of experience in the position offered or 18 months of experience developing vehicle cockpit user interactions and control functionality (physical and digital)
- Also requires 18 months of experience developing reductive design processes and strategies
- conducting customer clinics for iterative design and validation
- generating digital interaction concepts and supported wireframe development
- collaborating on storyboards to illustrate user experience
- exploring competitive trends and outside of industry trends
- Employee reports to office in Dearborn, MI. Position may work from home, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
- Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
We are offering a salary of $109,378 to $120,000 per year.
