User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Test Senior Analyst

Overall purpose:
This is an exciting role to be in a position to support a number of assets across the Cigna International Health Delivery Services - Transformation Office.
As part of the Cigna IH Customer, Client and Provider experience team the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Test Senior Analyst , (Reporting into the TO UAT Lead) will plan, develop and execute test scripts / cases as well as performing ad hoc exploratory testing to aid delivery of our multiple Assets and online services to the highest possible quality, all from a Business/User perspective, and using Agile methodologies where appropriate.
The successful candidate will also perform testing across the Digital assets supporting the primary service and working closely with the Technology and Product teams to ensure reliable and consistent product functionality and usability is obtained.
As the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Test Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for the delivery of key quality assurance results to support the Business SME in developing and maintaining the Transformation Office asset suite. This would encompass understanding and articulating the business requirements, supporting in User story creation & acceptance criteria of test results (aligned to Cigna IH SAFe 6 agile practises) You will also be supporting the delivery and testing of enterprise initiatives that impact the digital ecosystem and roadmaps
Key areas of responsibility
Test analysis/planning, including (60%)
- Representing the Test team at various project meetings, bug triage meetings, etc.
- Creating test deliverables; Test Plans, Test Scripts (both manual and automated), etc where required.
- Reviewing requirements for ambiguities, inaccuracies, logic statement flaws, best possible solution, etc with business owners
- Specifying and creating test data requirements
- Preparing test environments for test execution.
- Expanding on existing regression test scripts.
- Recording results in the internal defect tracking system for reference purposes and communicating to relevant parties.
- Defect management and Defect triage.
- Working with Project Managers, Technology & Business Intelligence teams for successful management of projects.
- Ensuring quality standards are met throughout the delivery process.
- Considering & planning for browser, operating system and device compatibility
- Reviewing test tool needs & vendor comparison to aid in increasing scope of test coverage.
- Governance for the final check out Releases for Production and mentoring for business testers for UAT and Production environments.
Test execution (40%)
- Performing manual and automated web application functional testing across multiple platforms, browsers and devices.
- Exploratory testing on new or existing configuration based web sites, additions to the product backlog or ‘green field’ projects
- Test execution of manual regression test scripts and collaboration for automated test scripts.
- Collaborate in the development of automated regression test scripts on various environments after each release.
- Identifying, escalating & tracking of defects, comparing customised vs base functionality, outlying breadth of issues, deep diving into causes as much as possible to aid quick resolution.
- Generation of online reports, by persona, in specific languages for external translation house review.
- Working with Business/Product owners, developers daily, PMs and other teams to clarify & replicate issues.
- Ensuring relevant database tables are being updated correctly using tooling and / or T-SQL queries (where required)
Qualification/professional/technical skills and knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years in Healthcare/managed care environment; software/product testing experience
- 3+ years in Salesforce experience
- Working knowledge of Agile methodology, (SAFe6 a strong Plus) including experience with software tracking assets, such as ADO, Rally, Jira etc
- Computer skills required: MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Mobile Apps & Salesforce technology experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, dealing with ambiguity, and negotiation skills
- Ability to multi-task, shifting effectively among multiple activities
- Excellent organizational skills including proven ability to utilize resources, prioritize, manage and meet multiple deadlines in a highly matrixed environment
- Proven ability to listen, understand and interpret information from others
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying information in a manner that others can understand
- Regional and international travel 10%-25%
Desirable:
- Experience in the use of Selenium for automated testing
- Knowledge of industry used technology including load, performance & stability testing desirable
- ISTQB qualified beneficial
