The Senior Manager, Data Analytics – Site Discovery executes the analytics vision and performance tracking across our AI Commerce (including Sparky), Search, and Personalization pillars. Working alongside team leadership and cross-functional partners, this role converts complex user behavior data into actionable insights, strategic inputs, and feature evaluations.
About the team:
The Site Discovery Analytics & Strategy team drives the strategic vision and data-driven execution across AI-Driven Commerce, Search, and Personalization. Acting as the organization’s strategic engine, the team collaborates with executive leadership to define product roadmaps, author impactful strategic documents, and monitor customer adoption. It leads operational governance through Weekly Business Reviews and delivers in-depth exploratory analytics to accelerate business growth. The team leverages expertise in Python, SQL, data analysis, and business metrics to transform complex data into actionable insights that support informed decision-making and continuous improvement across digital initiatives.
What you'll do:
- Data Ecosystems: Analyze and validate interaction data across Search, Personalization, and AI Commerce
- Advanced Analytics: Apply statistical methods to optimize search relevance, discovery friction, and conversational AI adoption.
- Business Reviews: Lead analytical support for WBRs/MBRs, tracking KPI health and feature performance.
- Cross-Functional Support: Partner with Product and Engineering to translate insights into actionable roadmap priorities.
- Strategic Briefings: Synthesize quantitative analyses into inputs for executive whitepapers and briefs.
- Mentorship & Governance: Guide junior analysts on storytelling and analytical rigor while maintaining compliance standards.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in data analytics, including proficiency with Python and SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of data quality management, data governance, and enterprise data architecture principles.
- Ability to translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using advanced analytical and visualization tools.
