As the Senior Manager of Transformation & Tools - Inventory Flow, you will serve as the business owner for critical tools and platforms that power our Inventory Flow Optimization team. Operating within a cross-functional “4-in-the-box” model alongside Product, Engineering, and key stakeholders, you will define product requirements, shape roadmaps, and drive the development and adoption of tools that directly improve team performance and decision-making.

The Inventory Flow Optimization team bridges Merchandising strategy and Supply Chain execution to enhance inventory movement from supplier to member, focusing on cost, speed, and availability improvements. Within this team, the Transformation & Tools pillar supports enterprise-wide efficiency by developing reusable analytical capabilities and leveraging advanced tools.
This group drives measurable gains through data discovery, analytics, and automation, enabling informed decision-making and optimized business strategies. What you'll do:
- Own the Product Vision for Internal Tools & Enterprise Platforms: Act as the business owner within a cross-functional “4-in-the-box” model, defining requirements, prioritizing features, and shaping roadmaps for tools in partnership with Walmart
- Build and Scale Data-Driven Solutions: Lead the development of in-house tools using AI, SQL, Power BI, and existing Walmart platforms to improve decision-making and reduce manual work
- Drive Automation & Process Standardization: Design and implement scalable processes that streamline workflows, and standardize internal ways of working
- Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Product, Supply Chain, and Merchandising stakeholders across Sam’s Club and Walmart to ensure alignment between business needs and technical execution.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
