This Position reports to:
Vice President, Automotive Robotics - USA
In this role, you will be responsible for growing ABB market share in OEM’s Automotive Robotics, US. The overall responsibility is to generate and follow up on robot and robot systems leads and develop ABB’s business with end customers for robotic products and systems. Position requires the ability to travel 70%+ of the time during a typical workweek.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Understanding business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer’s business and business environment, translating them into the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB.
- Participating in the development of sales strategies for the accounts through providing current business and long-term plans for the customer.
- Defining sales targets, giving input on market price developments monitoring competitors’ activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are implemented.
- Submitting complete and accurate proposal and forecast information within Salesforce
- Managing on time and accurate and follow up Leads, Opportunities, Bids and Purchase orders in SalesForce
- Accomplish the Sales targets in Volume and Portfolio set at beginning of the year according Sales Strategy.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree PLUS minimum 10 years sales experience OR Associate’s degree PLUS minimum 12 years sales experience OR High School diploma/GED PLUS minimum 14 years’ sales experience
- Previous Automotive industry experience; experience in selling automation, preferably robots and robotic automation systems for a variety of applications. Body and white, powertrain or assembly highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, Account management and customer presence.
- Ability to create and develop relationships with new customers
- Salesforce knowledge is a Must as is Ability to travel up to 70% weekly
- Candidates must possess work authorization that would allow them to work permanently in the US without sponsorship
