About this role:

As a Urologist with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you’ll be part of a well-established adult urology practice serving the Salt Lake Valley. You’ll provide care for adult patients across a wide range of urologic needs, including kidney stones, prostate-related conditions, and other general adult urology cases. You’ll have access to robotic surgery at LDS Hospital and the support of a strong physician network across the valley.

  • You’ll practice at Salt Lake Clinic
  • The schedule is anticipated to start with three clinic days and one OR day, with potential to shift to a two-clinic/two-OR day model as volume grows
  • Clinic volume: 16–30 patients/day depending on visit type
  • Call schedule is shared with group and expected to be one week every eight weeks

  • Guaranteed base salary plus productivity and quality incentives
  • $50,000 starting bonus
  • Up to $20,000 relocation assistance
  • Up to $75,000 in student loan repayment support over three years
  • Up to $36,000 residency stipend available during training

What you’ll bring:

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • BLS certification and DEA
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

Salt Lake City is located at the base of the Wasatch Mountains and is within an hour’s drive of nine world-renowned ski resorts and within a day’s drive of five national parks.  Along with these recreational attractions, there are many cultural and sporting events.  There are performances by the Utah Symphony, Ballet West and Pioneer Theater Company as well as a renovated theater that offers Broadway plays. The Sundance Film Festival and the Park City Art Festival are nationally recognized events held in nearby communities.  The NBA’s Jazz, ECHL Utah Grizzlies hockey, the Salt Lake Bees, a triple-A baseball team, and Real Salt Lake City, a major league soccer team, all represent Salt Lake City.  The University of Utah is located in Salt Lake City.
