An Upholstery Framer’s primary role is to build, assemble, and reinforce the structural wooden or metal frameworks that form the core of high-quality furniture and appliances. Main duties include reading production sketches, cutting structural lumber, securing joints using heavy-duty fasteners, and applying padding or webbing to prepare the piece for final fabric covering.
This role is responsible for the foundational strength, stability, and geometric accuracy of every piece produced. Additionally, the Upholstery Framer must maintain a highly organized assembly area, handle heavy materials safely, and collaborate closely with sewers and upholsterers to ensure frameworks match textile patterns perfectly with zero defects.
🚀 Career Growth Opportunity: We are looking for highly robust and meticulous builders! Upholstery Framers who consistently achieve flawless structural precision, maintain zero framework alignment defects, and optimize assembly speed will be prioritized for career advancement opportunities, such as Master Framer, Assembly Line Supervisor, or Production Shop Foreman. 🎯
