KTVI/ KPLR is currently accepting News Digital Media Internship applications for the 2026 Fall semester. Internships for this semester are unpaid. Interns must be receiving college credit. News internships are designed for aspiring broadcast journalists seeking hands-on experience in a local newsroom. Interns will potentially work with reporters, photojournalists, and producers.
Internship Details:
- Internship schedules will be based on requirements from college or university
- Interns will be well-supervised and participate in a meaningful learning experience
Requirements & Skill:
- Juniors and seniors studying broadcast journalism, video production, or other communication degrees
- Internships must be for school credit
- Be of advanced skill level due to complexity of projects
- A collaborative worker with a willingness to learn
- Previous internship experience a plus
- abide by all safety rules and procedures of Company.
- exert best efforts in receiving training and cooperate with and follow the instructions of employees of Company
- maintain strictly the confidences of Company, the customers of Company, all information or data received regarding Company and any of its trade secrets or any other confidential business information received by the Student
