Overview
· Manage, maintain, and provide engineering and administrative support for core Linux infrastructure
· Member of team responsible for all server hardware and Unix/Linux operating systems for supported systems across global infrastructure
Responsibilities
· Implement and operate tactical plans that align with management-defined strategies to meet corporate, divisional, and team goals
· Continuous improvement of service delivery to internal and external customers
· Development, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Unix/Linux systems supporting corporate and production platforms
· Patching and support of Unix/Linux systems in all global locations
· Create, maintain, and improve documentation for processes, architecture, or other infrastructure elements
· Advance process automation where possible
Qualifications
Qualifications:
· 4+ years’ experience managing Unix/Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS/Rocky preferred)
· Demonstrated skills in decision making/judgement and initiative
· Possess interpersonal skills and organizational savvy
Optional Desired Qualifications:
· Global infrastructure support experience preferred
· Ubuntu, Ansible, KVM, Openstack, Docker, Kubernetes experience preferred
· Scripting or coding experience is helpful
· Exposure to other facets of IT helpful
· Knowledge of PCI requirements and controls helpful
Education and Certifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
· ITIL certification preferred
