Full-cycle university recruiter responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating offers, and onboarding interns and new college graduates. Build and maintain university partnerships, run campus events, manage talent pipelines, track recruiting metrics, leverage AI/digital tools, and contribute to strategic recruiting and process improvements.

As a University Recruiter (Contract Role) at Micron Technology, you will serve as a strategic talent advisor and trusted partner to hiring managers, external vendors, and university stakeholders. You will provide guidance on recruiting best practices, align talent strategies with business priorities, and deliver a high-quality candidate experience from engagement through offer.
In this role, you will build and maintain strong university partnerships, ensure candidates are well-informed on compensation, interview processes, and offers, and proactively manage talent pipelines to meet evolving hiring needs. You will also stay informed on Micron's business strategy, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to effectively position opportunities to top early-career talent.
You will own full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination. Additionally, you will contribute to strategic recruiting initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that support business growth, workforce planning, and key company priorities such as hiring ramps and organizational changes.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Recruiting Execution
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for intern and new college graduate (NCG) roles, including intake, sourcing, screening, and closing

University & Pipeline Management
  • Serve as primary relationship owner for assigned universities (4-6 core schools)
  • Build and sustain diverse, high-quality early-career talent pipelines

Program Execution & Events
  • Plan and execute campus recruiting events (career fairs, info sessions, conferences)
  • Support end-to-end internship and NCG program lifecycle delivery

Stakeholder Management & Partnership
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to align on workforce priorities, timelines, and candidate profiles
  • Provide consultative guidance on recruiting strategy and market insights

Data, Reporting & Operational Excellence
  • Track and manage recruiting metrics, including pipeline health, conversion rates, and time-to-fill
  • Maintain accurate data in recruiting systems and ensure process compliance

AI & Digital Recruiting Capabilities
  • Leverage AI tools and digital platforms to enhance sourcing, candidate engagement, and process efficiency

Strategic Projects & Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to or lead recruiting initiatives supporting hiring ramps, organizational changes, and operational excellence
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and candidate experience

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 1+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage programs and execute with precision
  • Ability to travel up to 40%

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the semiconductor or technology industry
  • University recruiting or early-career program experience
  • Exposure to or experience with AI-enabled recruiting tools and practices
