How you will make an impact
Cabrini Malvern is seeking an experienced Unit Receptionist to join our Maternity Services team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will assist with bookings, provide updates to patients, answer inquiries, and schedule interviews and tours.
As a Unit Receptionist, flexibility and adaptability are essential, as you will be working in a busy and fast-paced environment. Shift work will be required to support the provision of our services while maintaining a high standard of care for patients, visitors, and staff, in alignment with the Mission and Values of Cabrini.
Key responsibilities will include:
Performing reception duties, offering hospitality and efficient services to all visitors and hospital staff
Maintaining confidentiality and respect with sensitive information
Answering telephone calls and responding to telephone and other enquiries
Attending to patient requests, and referring to the appropriate person if unable to assist
About you
Along with commitment to providing exceptional customer service, you will also have the following:
Recent reception experience (ideally within a hospital service)
Excellent computer skills and ability to learn software quickly
Flexibility and a positive attitude
Professional manner in person and over phone/email
Strong attention to detail
Enthusiasm for participation in a team environment
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
