Position SummaryThe RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit, ensuring quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff support. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and compassion.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and support nursing staff on the assigned unit
- Ensure delivery of high-quality resident-centered care
- Monitor resident conditions and coordinate care planning
- Conduct clinical assessments and follow-up as needed
- Manage admissions, discharges, and care transitions
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, residents, and families
- Assist with staff coaching, education, and performance development
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting
- Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork and resident outcomes
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Silas Creek Rehabilitation Center is a 90-bed skilled nursing facility located in Winston-Salem, NC. The center provides specialized short-term, inpatient rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care, offering a full range of medical, rehabilitative, and social services. Their facilities include private and semi-private rooms and a rehabilitation gym to support resident recovery and independence.
