Position Summary

We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Unit Manager (RN) to provide clinical leadership for an assigned resident care unit. This role oversees daily operations, supports nursing staff, promotes regulatory compliance, and helps ensure exceptional resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily clinical operations of an assigned unit
  • Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and nursing staff
  • Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely follow-up on changes
  • Conduct rounds and address resident, family, and staff concerns
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary conferences
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
  • Support survey readiness and quality improvement efforts
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and department leaders to achieve positive resident outcomes
Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted South Carolina RN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Supervisory or leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
  • Knowledge of clinical documentation, care planning, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Must maintain licensure in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
