Responsibilities of an RN Unit Manager:

  • Maintaining and restoring health of resident patients
  • Acting as a main point of contact between residents and their families
  • Addressing and preventing concerns from family members

Qualifications for an RN Unit Manager:

  • Associate's degree or above in Nursing (ASN) or Practical Nursing Diploma required.
  • Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN Licensure in the state of practice required.
  • One (1+) years nursing experience required with prior Sub-Acute Care or Long-Term Care nursing experience preferred.

Skills Required

  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) or higher, or a Practical Nursing Diploma
  • Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
  • At least one year of nursing experience
  • Prior sub-acute care or long-term care nursing experience
