The position / About the Job:
In this job the Unit Manager – Pumps and Valves would be responsible for:
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the performance and output of the unit, including financial responsibility.
- Set and follow up targets for the unit, broken down from factory level
- Drive the development of the unit.
- Secure Standardized work & SOP
- Participate in making the Operational plan
- Make costing update for the unit
- Support and initiate supplier development activities together with support functions
- Support Problem Solving & Improvement activities
- Understand and deal with the real problems of the unit by being present
- Involved in new product development and give input to EPD (Existing Product Development)
- Secure the result of Continuous Improvement activities in the unit by developing yearly operational Plan including Lean Six Sigma and 5S.
- Actively support and challenge the daily running of ALPS in the factory.
- Perform audits according to ALPS
- Responsible for that Supply chain processes within the unit are implemented and maintained.
- Responsible for Customer complaints & Process deviation resolution with different Quality analysis tools like CAPA form, DMAIC approach – PRP / Kaizen & customer specific any
- Responsible for the Team developments by competency mapping, gap identification & Training.
- Responsible for the S & O P drive & ensuring the Capacity & resources availability on short- & long-term horizon.
- Capex & Operational Annual budgetary planning for yearly Costing updates activities & its execution.

- Financial authority to execute within the Unit´s P3 costing update frame.
- Break down the Unit´s overall targets into targets for each Team / Function
- Follow up targets and take corrective actions in case of deviations.
- To stop production within the Unit in case of safety/quality / environmental deviations
- To make ALPS audits within the Unit and take corrective actions in case of deviations.
- To execute organizational changes in agreement with FM
- To delegate tasks in the organization
Who you are?

What you can be?
Qualifications & experience:
- Bachler / Diploma of Engineering from Mechanical /Production or equivalent experience.
- Leadership and management skills and experience.
- 10 years + of experience in a production/manufacturing company.
- Experience from improvement tools, e g 5S, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen
- Project work experience
