Unit Assistant

Our Personal Lines department, in our Berkely Heights, NJ office, is currently seeking a Unit Assistant. 

This person will process renewals, new business, cancellations, non-pays and endorsements as well as keeping accounts updated with information received from carriers.  Additionally, this person will access carrier websites to pull daily activity reports, process agency billing/invoicing, and handle mail received from carriers.

• 2+ years of prior office experience
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically excel
• Valid P&C license is a plus

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Negligible

Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
