We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement CJTF HOA/AFRICOM’s mission objectives.

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Unified Communications (UC) Administrator.   This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, CJTF-HOA located OCONUS in DJIBOUTI, Africa.  This position is required to travel OCONUS. 

Responsibilities

A Unified Communications (UC) Administrator maintains integrated communication systems for an organization, managing various tools like voice, video, and data systems.

  • Manage and configure communication platforms such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Meeting Server (CMS), Cisco Meeting Management (CMM), Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) and Cisco Expressways.

  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco CUBE and voice gateway systems to support secure voice and video connectivity.

  • Knowledge of VoIP/VTC protocols (SIP, RTP, RTCP, SRTP)

  • Supports the DHCP management of VoIP/VTC IP scopes within a large enterprise network.

  • Hardens UC platforms and devices in accordance with DISA STIG requirements

  • Configures and troubleshoots VoIP and VTC devices on Cisco switches and within the Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) environment.

  • Configures, troubleshoots, and maintains Cisco VoIP and VTC devices.

  • Manage and support CUCM virtual machines within a vSphere environment.

  • Resolve technical issues with voice, video, and messaging systems, and provide escalated support for users.

  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve problems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

  • Work with other cross-functional teams and vendors to integrate communications systems into existing infrastructure and troubleshooting issues.  

Qualifications:

Required

  • Certifications- CCNA or CCNP Collaboration and SEC+ or Security X/ CASP

  • Clearance level – Secret

  • Experience - At least 5 years experience

  • Technical proficiency: Experience with specific UC products: Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Meeting Server (CMS), Cisco Meeting Management (CMM), Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) and Cisco Expressways, Jabber, and other voice and video conferencing systems

  • Must be willing/able to work OCONUS for minimum of one year

Desired:

  • Networking knowledge: A strong understanding of networking principles is essential for managing and integrating communication systems.

  • Troubleshooting skills: The ability to analyze network and UC issues as deciphering system traces is crucial.

  • Able to lift at least 50lbs

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200-$158,100
