Position Overview
Under limited supervision, with priority to superior customer service, performs duties related to the processing of all new business underwriting activities including applications, ordering requirements, follow-up on all outstanding requirements and application correspondence as needed, ensuring quality, productivity standards and SLA goals are met. Assists with daily operational/administrative tasks, research and project-related work
Responsibilities
Superior handling of support functions related to new business casework from one or more sources and/or underwriting lines of business within GARe, Agenium, Carrier workbenches or other 3rd party systems.
Primary Activities include but not limited to the review and verification of PII information, retention search, application loading and preparing the file for Underwriter review utilizing all current and future alternative underwriting technology tools in accordance to distribution and department procedures.
Comply with OFAC, MIB requirements along with all state and federal regulations including reporting, correspondence, plan F etc.
Supporting client through 3rd party vendor systems by ordering and tracking age and amount requirements according to carrier guidelines.
Generate all correspondence (Includes but not limited to decline, withdrawn, disability waiver letters and cancellations, etc) and timely communicate with carrier, underwriter, or other points of contact on requests, questions or other assistance as needed.
Provides administrative support to Underwriting including but not limited to digital data retrieval tools, reconciliation, request tracking log, insured issues ensuring data privacy is maintained within RGA and/or Client administrative systems.
Assists with research and project-related work.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Requirements
H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
2+ Years Experience as a Sr. New Business Processor
Basic MS Word Skills
Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills
Intermediate investigative, analytical and problem solving skills
Takes initiative and is accountable
Must be flexible and adaptive to change
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Ability to work well within a team environment
Competent ability to comprehend and interpret insurance and contract documents
Progress towards FLMI or other relevant professional accreditation

Compensation Range:
$51,350.00 - $69,260.00 AnnualBase pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
