Responsibilities and Duties:
- Act as the primary contact of the conditions submission and clearing process / review, and as the liaison and coordinator between the TPO client and Underwriting.
- Proactively managing all condition related follow-up to ensure they are collected from the TPO client and submitted to underwriting.
- Communicate effectively with TPO clients and team members to resolve issues or address questions related to loan documentation / conditions.
- Provide underwriting guidelines and condition subject matter expertise to the TPO client.
- Meet service level agreements (SLAs) for collection and submission of loan conditions.
- Manage file organization, upload documents to systems, and maintain accurate records.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in mortgage originations (e.g. loan processing, underwriting support).
- High Familiarity with mortgage loan guidelines, underwriting philosophy, and loan documentation.
- Non-Agency / non-QM experienced required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and loan origination systems.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively.
