Arrowhead Automotive Aftermarket is looking for an Underwriting Intern to join our team. In this position, you will learn to prep, underwrite, and analyze underwriting transactions. Under close supervision and guidance, this position will also learn to underwrite and analyze new and renewal business.
Arrowhead Automotive Aftermarket, operating as a division of Brown & Brown Insurance, is a narrowly focused market leader in providing insurance products and services to automotive aftermarket business owners and their employees. Our specialized approach offers exclusive access to business insurance programs via our program administrator Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc.
JOB DUTIES:

Learns and performs basic underwriting functions (account risk selection, exposure, coverage structure and loss analysis).

Assist in reviewing and preparing submissions with the Underwriters.

Adheres to underwriting guidelines and insurance laws under the guidance of the Chief Underwriting Officer, Program Managers, and Underwriters

Completes projects assigned by the Underwriters and the Operations and Business Development Teams.

Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Have excellent time management skills and able to consistently meet deadlines.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
-
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Strong written and communication skills.
