- Provide support for your national underwriting teams, assisting with duties in and around the underwriting process.
- Provide support for your sales regions, assisting with marketing and sales efforts.
- Provide support for your key agents and brokers, assisting with specialty programs and generally ensuring that we are “the easiest” market with which to conduct business.
- Create and issue new and renewal bond documents, ensuring systems of record are properly updated.
- Assist the broker, the bondholder and the obligee with bond term transactions, such as bond endorsements, riders, cancels, broker of record updates, etc.
- Research and help resolve billing and account current discrepancies.
- Assist with underwriting (electronic) file maintenance and underwriting audit support needs.
- Assist the Surety Department by identifying and implementing improvements to our key systems and workflows.
- Limited lines of authority may be granted to assist with the underwriting of new and renewal accounts.

Skills Required
- Completion of high school education or equivalent
- More than 4 years of experience in a similar position
- Associate's degree
- Experience in surety, insurance, or financial services
- Ability to interact professionally and work effectively in a high-performance team environment
