Job Description:

Position Summary:

Provide operational and underwriting support to the Renewal Underwriting Unit by reviewing and  compiling data, performing routine tasks of calculating premium and producing quality documents for multiple insurance transactions.

Job Duties

  • Support underwriters in the assessment of commercial renewal book of business
  • Gather and evaluate relevant data and reports to support underwriting decisions and ensure accuracy in documentation and rating.
  • Organize and manage digital filing systems using platforms such as ImageRight, Coverall, and Diamond.
  • Assist in the triaging agent inquiries to help to support underwriting decisions and customer service needs.
  • Communicate effectively with brokers, agents, and internal stakeholders to obtain necessary information and resolve routine issues.
  • Assist with departmental projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: 

College degree preferred.  Commercial Insurance experience required.

Demonstrates strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Diligence and strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities with flexibility.

Basic Microsoft Office skills
