Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated “UX/UI Designer” to join our dynamic GeoDin team at Fugro, a global leader in geospatial data collection, analysis, and management.
You will initially be a key member for GeoDin, our premier geo-data management and reporting software, and your work will directly contribute to making our software more usable with a modern look & feel. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative team of international colleagues with whom you will share innovative ideas to achieve excellence. The role will report to the Service Design Lead, and be part of the Accelerate Business Build unit in Fugro. Your role will also allow you to work across several other products in our business build program, providing you exposure to a diverse portfolio of exciting geodata technologies, allowing you to widen your experience for different types of applications and user personas.
Product Design Team Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Service Design Lead, Product Owner and Client Success Team to identify opportunities and gaps within our workflow products.

Design solutions that meet the needs of the business while addressing customer pain points;

Brainstorm and ideate solutions to modernise legacy applications.
Your Responsibilities
-
Design mock-ups and prototypes for the next phase of our product roadmap;

Assist in developing a design system and style guide for products within the GeoDin ecosystem, both online and desktop;
-
Conduct user research and gather user requirements;
-
Conduct usability tests, collecting and analyse user feedback;
-
Collaborate with cross functional teams in an Agile environment.
Your track-record
-
3-5 years UX/UI design work experience;
-
Experience developing design systems and guidelines;
-
Proficiency in using Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD;
-
Ability to refine and deliver storytelling around user needs;
-
A design thinking mindset;
-
Experience working on web and desktop applications.
