You balance vision with detail—setting direction for the overall experience while remaining hands-on with UI design and implementation. You’ll use research, iteration, and design thinking to ensure every step of the journey is simple, empathetic, and effective.

This role will be on the product management team, partnering closely with engineering, commercial, the CEO, and clinical operations to create seamless experiences that scale from individual cardiology practices to health system deployments.

Responsibilities - UX and Product Design
  • Lead UX and UI experience design across patient and clinician journeys, including onboarding, packaging, instructions, through long-term use.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to translate requirements into wireframes, flows, prototypes, and polished interfaces for mobile and web applications. Ensure designs are implemented with fidelity.
  • Advocate for patient and provider needs through user research and usability testing to simplify and improve every touchpoint.
  • Create and evolve a design system to ensure consistency across mobile, web, and service experiences.
  • Simplify complex workflows into clear, engaging experiences.
  • Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term UX strategy, using data and feedback to continuously improve.
  • Contribute to content design and messaging that makes products easier to use and understand.
  • In some cases, contribute to product requirements and specs, translating user and business needs into clear design deliverables and product specifications for new features and enhancements.
Responsibilities - Brand & Marketing Design
  • Lead the efforts on the overall look and feel of Wearlinq’s brand across digital and physical experiences.
  • Maintain and evolve the company website’s design and content presentation to ensure consistency with product design and brand standards.
  • Design and refine product marketing assets, such as investor presentations, pitch decks, and visual materials for commercial teams.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio of shipped digital products.
  • Expertise in user-centered design methods, prototyping, and usability testing.
  • Strong skills with modern design tools (e.g., Figma).
  • Experience simplifying complex workflows for broad audiences.
  • Ability to manage design from concept to delivery, balancing business and user needs.
  • Knowledge of current mobile and web technologies, including design systems (Material, Carbon, Fluent, etc).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, digital health, or wellness.
  • Experience with both consumer (B2C) and clinical/provider (B2B) products.
  • Familiarity with service design—covering physical and digital touchpoints.
  • Experience evolving or creating design systems from scratch.
