This position is Paris-based, with relocation support available.
Team
You will be an integral part of a newly established internal studio, a dynamic and focused team dedicated to elevating some of the most promising game concepts emerging from our innovative prototyping teams. This studio is specifically chartered to take high-potential prototypes and evolve them into successful, market-ready titles.
In this exciting role, your initial focus will be on Monster Survivors, a game that has already demonstrated significant promise and captured our attention with its compelling core mechanics and engaging gameplay. This is a unique chance to join a project with established momentum while still having a significant impact on its future direction within a dedicated and agile studio environment
Role
- Support the Creative director in the ideation and execution of the game’s vision.
- Design and implement a high-quality, scalable UI from concept to final integration in Unity.
- Develop and optimize UX flows of new and existing features.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive UI Style Bible and reusable component libraries.
- Create high-quality 2D assets (menus, HUDs, buttons, icons, etc) and ensure optimal performance across mobile devices.
- Setup, integrate, and animate UI scenes in Unity.
- Work with Game Designers to ensure UI supports gameplay and accessibility goals.
- Iterate quickly based on team feedback and live user data.
- Propose creative ideas to boost player engagement and improve the user experience.
Profile
- Experience as a UI/UX Artist on shipped mobile games.
- Strong Unity skills, with the ability to implement and troubleshoot UI setups directly in engine.
- Excellent 2D design skills, with a keen eye for visual hierarchy, composition, and readability.
- Ability to mock up fast, anticipate UX flows, think like a player
- Experience with A/B testing interfaces or working with LiveOps features.
- A keen eye for emerging mobile game trends with the ability to creatively deconstruct and learn from success cases.
- Ability to design, document and execute a consistent UI visual language.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional remote teams.
- Fluent in English.
