We’re looking for a hands-on UAV hardware specialist to join our R&D team in Riga and help develop next-generation drone systems for wind turbine inspection and servicing.
What You’ll Do
- Build, tune, and test larger custom drone platforms.
- Work with drone hardware, power systems, sensors, and control integrations.
- Perform mechanical and electrical adjustments as part of prototype development.
- Conduct field testing and troubleshooting of R&D systems.
- Maintain organized technical documentation and assist in developing structured processes.
Requirements
- Proven DIY or professional experience building and modifying drones.
- Strong understanding of drone mechanics, electronics, and control systems.
- Hands-on mindset with attention to detail and a practical problem-solving approach.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Latvian (both written and spoken).
- Willingness to work on-site in Riga, 5 days per week.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in R&D, prototyping, or robotics projects.
- Familiarity with industrial drone systems or wind energy applications.
